70% of Florida voters, including Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike, are in favor of guaranteeing abortion access. People know that medical decisions should be free from the influence of out of touch politicians who have no way of knowing a family’s unique circumstances.
However, Florida politicians are denying Floridians the right to control their own bodies and lives. Current legislation threatens to ban abortion at 6 weeks, and the alleged “exceptions” are limited at best and nonexistent at worst. This law would ban abortion before many people even realize they’re pregnant.
So, here’s the plan:
Working together across party lines, we’re going to amend the Florida constitution so that these important decisions are back in the hands of Florida families and their doctors.
