Dear John,

Warm Greetings!

My name is Scott Schittl, and I'm CitizenGO's campaigner for Ireland.

Did you know that CitizenGO turned ten years old in 2023?!? Even though we can hardly believe it ourselves, it's true!!

That's ten years of leading the world in the defence of Life, Family, and Freedom...

That's ten years of countering the Radical Left's every move to corrupt and mutilate our children, to force their freedom-destroying ideologies limiting our free speech and our health decisions down our throats, and to kill more and more vulnerable people by abortion and euthanasia.

Truth be told, it's been a lot of hard work. And, some of my colleagues have even been threatened with jail time!

But through it all, we are still standing! Actually, with your help and the help of God, we're not just standing, we are thriving!

And that, my friend, is really something to cheer about!

So, to mark this major milestone, CitizenGO decided to do something a little unconventional to celebrate.

Instead of shining the spotlight on our good works, we decided to initiate the CitizenGO Award which honors local men, women, and organizations for their dedication to the protection of Life, Family, and Freedom in the countries in which we operate.

We call these people "Champions" because that's exactly what they are. They are all champions for Life, Family and Freedom, in their own countries.

And, for their heroism and dedication, they each received the CitizenGO Award from our local campaigners at separate ceremonies held in each respective CitizenGO country.

Now, I would like to introduce you to CitizenGO's 2023 Award recipients and tell you a little about them and the ceremonies which took place over the last 6 months, all around the world.

In all honesty, you, and every one of the hundreds of thousands of people reading this email globally, should be honoured with the CitizenGO Award, because if it weren't for you, CitizenGO could not do the life-saving, family-defending, and freedom-protecting work we do every day.

Thank you for helping us try to be a force for good in our increasingly dark world.

We hope you take some encouragement and inspiration from our awardees, and from the success which CitizenGO has become over the last ten years.

Enjoy the reading below and, until next time, may God bless you and yours.

USA CitizenGO Award Ceremony

At our 10th Anniversary Gala in Orlando, Florida, CitizenGO USA honoured Mike Rothfeld (pictured above to the right) with our award, celebrating his significant contributions to the organisation.

As the founder and president of the Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership and a seasoned political activist, Mike's comprehensive expertise in conservative issues and direct marketing has greatly enriched CitizenGO, and the conservative world, more generally.

His valuable insights have become a cornerstone of CitizenGO's global mission to advocate for family, life, and freedom. Mr Rothfeld’s award was personally presented by CitizenGO CEO Ignacio Arsuaga.

Argentina CitizenGO Award Ceremony

Last December, during our Anniversary ceremony in Argentina, CitizenGO proudly recognized the efforts of our dedicated members who have helped shape CitizenGO as a significant political power advocating for life and family values.

We honoured Dr Abel Albino (pictured above in the centre), the well-respected advocate against child malnutrition and abortion. And, we also used the occasion to connect with politicians who supported our cause during recent elections and NGO leaders who share our principles. Dr Albino’s award was presented by Argentine CitizenGO Team members.

Australia CitizenGO Award Ceremony

At our Anniversary celebration in Australia, Senator Alex Antic (pictured above to your right), a staunch defender of life, family, freedom, and commonsense, was honoured with the CitizenGO Award.

Recognized for sponsoring critical bills aimed at protecting infants surviving abortions, opposing medical gender transition of minors, and defending workers' rights regarding COVID 'vaccination' status, Senator Antic stands out.

Additionally, his criticism of the Albanese Labor Government's efforts on misinformation and Digital ID is noteworthy. His award was presented by CitizenGO's George Christensen in Adelaide, surrounded by family and friends.

Canada CitizenGO Award Ceremony

At our CitizenGO Canada’s Anniversary celebration last October, we awarded Matthew Wojciechowski (pictured above to the right), Vice President of Campaign Life Coalition, acknowledging his unwavering advocacy for life, family, and liberty locally in Canada and globally at the United Nations.

Matthew embodies CitizenGO's principles through his work defending parents' rights against gender ideology in education, advocating for the unborn and the most vulnerable at the Canadian Parliament, and upholding human life and family values at the United Nations.

His award was presented by CitizenGO Canada campaigner Gregory Tomchyshyn.

France CitizenGO Award Ceremony

In September 2023, in Paris, CitizenGO France awarded Jean-Frédéric Poisson (pictured above to the left), President of the VIA Party, to honour his steadfast dedication to life, family, and freedom.

Acknowledging his bold defense of these core values during his service in the French National Assembly and as a party leader, CitizenGO praised his unyielding support, especially on issues others shy away from, such as the protection of the unborn.

Grateful for this recognition, Jean-Frédéric Poisson is eager to continue collaborating with CitizenGO to uphold these shared principles. His award was presented by CitizenGO France campaigner Alexandre Moustafa.

Hungary CitizenGO Award Ceremony

The 10th Anniversary CitizenGO Awards Ceremony in Budapest, Hungary was a resounding success!

This year, we celebrated Andrea Foldi-Kovacs (pictured fourth from the left), a respected journalist and dedicated pro-life advocate, for life and family in Hungary. Through her television program, Credo, she played a pivotal role in advancing our cause by providing a platform for widespread visibility of our core values.

Furthermore, the Safe Society Foundation, which she established alongside her husband, has been instrumental in fostering networks within the pro-life community all over the world.

Currently, Andrea is a valuable member of the Axioma Center team. In a heartwarming "family" photo, alongside the event's organizer and presenter, Eszter Schittl, we captured moments with Andrea, as well as with past and present members of CitizenGO Hungary's team.

The event not only showcased CitizenGO's professionalism but also strengthened our position as a leading NGO in Hungary, thanks in no small part to the hard work of our awardee in protecting the values we all hold so dear.

Ireland CitizenGO Award Ceremony

CitizenGO Ireland honoured four distinguished Irish figures with the CitizenGO Award last October.

Deputy Mattie McGrath (pictured, lower right) was recognised for his staunch pro-life advocacy and contributions to Leinster House.

Gript Media (pictured, upper left), led by John McGuirk, was celebrated for challenging the Irish media consensus, engaging over 250,000 weekly readers on hot-button issues concerning life, family, and freedom.

Donal O'Sullivan-Latchford (pictured, upper right) received applause for his efforts with the Family and Media Association in defending truth in the media, while Pastors John and Joanna Ahern (pictured, lower left) were lauded for their leadership in faith and freedom of assembly, especially during Covid times and against trans ideology in schools.

The awards were presented by Caroline Farrow, CitizenGO’s English Language Director.

Italy CitizenGO Award Ceremony

In the idyllic setting of Florence, the CitizenGO Award dinner celebrated the passionate advocacy of "Universitari per la Vita," a group of university students committed to promoting the right to life, and Federica Picchi Roncali, founder of "Dominus Production".

Both have made strides in educating and raising awareness about life's sanctity from conception, with the students through educational outlets and Picchi Roncali by bringing pro-life and pro-family films like "Unplanned" and "Sound of Freedom" to Italian audiences, leveraging the power of cinema to touch hearts on life issues.

Also, in addition to the award-winners, we had the honour of welcoming Anna Bonetti as our guest, a pro-life activist and a dear friend of CitizenGO, and we were delighted to have her present with us.

The awards were presented by CitizenGO Italy campaigner Matilde Giunti and by Simone Guffanti, Campaigns Editor for Italy.

Netherlands CitizenGO Award Ceremony

At the Dutch 10th Anniversary celebration of CitizenGO, we honoured the late Father Jan Koopman, a valiant priest whose advocacy for the unborn set a bold example.

Notably, he once scaled a 40-metre crane to protest against a pro-abortion conference, showcasing his fearless dedication to the cause.

Even in his absence, Father Koopman's legacy is foundational to the Dutch pro-life movement, making him a fitting recipient of our award. Rest in Peace, Fr Koopman.

Poland CitizenGO Award Ceremony

In November 2023, CitizenGO Poland proudly awarded Mr. Paweł Ozdoba (pictured above to the right), President of the Center for Life and Family, with our CitizenGO Award.

This honour highlighted our gratitude for Mr. Ozdoba's unwavering dedication to life, family, and freedom. His leadership in organising the annual National Marches for Life and Family has been pivotal in promoting social awareness in Poland and defending the sanctity of life from conception and the traditional family structure.

Accepting the award, Mr. Ozdoba graciously dedicated it to all the members of his organisation, emphasising the collective effort in their mission. CitizenGO Poland Campaigns Director Sylwia Mleczko presented his award.
