Normally, we’d celebrate the departure of a Trump enabler and anti-choice crusader like Mitch McConnell.

After all, he tried to sabotage the agendas of Presidents Obama and Biden. He tried to steal away health care from millions of Americans, put Trump’s ultra-right-wing buddies on the Supreme Court, and undermined our democratic traditions at every possible opportunity.

But if we know the Republican Party, whoever replaces him is bound to be JUST AS BAD – and probably EVEN WORSE – than Mitch. Somehow. Ahem…Ted Cruz…

In other words, don’t get too comfortable, because the fight is far from over.
