Happy Saturday! (Or Tuesday, does anyone really know what day it is at this point?)

"What are your thoughts on the coronavirus?"

This is the #1 topic of discussion in all of my inboxes. There are so many conspiracies circulating on social media that nobody's sure what to believe. Was this planned? Is there an agenda? If so, what is it? Is the coronavirus real? Is it a hoax? Is it nothing more than a common cold? Is this all about a quackxine or a global agenda to control people? Should I be prepared for the worst or just ride this out?

To be honest, I haven't shared my thoughts on coronavirus with anyone (until now). I've simply sat back like everyone else and watched it play out. I haven't freaked out about a quarantine/isolation/stay-at-home order but I also haven't continued about my business like it isn't wise to stock up on the things I use most.

My thoughts on what's going on in the world is this: Coronavirus is a real virus. Like any virus it can make you sick. Like any virus, it can change and mutate, is somewhat predictable and in other ways, isn't. Is it a coincidental virus born from the wild that nobody knew about? No. Did anyone see this coming? Yes, or you wouldn't have had a simulation at John Hopkins in October of 2019 playing out this EXACT scenario with a novel coronavirus.

Should you take it seriously? Of course. Should you fear living your life? No. Does this have anything to do with quackxines? Absolutely. There's no question about that. Is it even remotely as serious as other pandemics we've had in the past? No. The statistics simply do not support that. Swine flu, Hong Kong flu, Asian flu, Spanish flu, HIV, yellow fever, and small pox were far worse pandemics. Small pox was associated with 56 million deaths (and eradicated by proper hygiene and quarantine). Influenza kills thousands of people each year. Let's have a little perspective.

There are 500 conspiracy theories about what's really going on here and it's no secret that there are a LOT of people trying to capitalize upon our current situation by sneaking things into legislation or rolling out initiatives that normally, people would gather and protest over. You should (if you're already not) be concerned about that. Censorship, 5g, the ease of removing the civil liberties of people, and infringing upon privacy, the prohibition of gatherings -- could all have serious consequences moving forward.

At this point, I think it's safe to say that there are things going on that we cannot see -- to what extent I simply don't know.

What I do know is that, germs only thrive in environments conducive to growth (whether we're talking about this one or anything else), so if you're really worried about it, do what you need to do to turn your body into a place where a pathogen simply wouldn't want to live.

Load up on
Vitamin D3, elderberry, and colloidal silver. (I am admittedly biased.) Make morning smoothies rich in vitamin C. Create your own natural medicine cabinet, and read my approach to "all things virus" for more helpful tips on how to be consciously prepared for anything that comes your way.
