I got into this race because I could see that our community was hurting with Mike Garcia as our representative.

He’s become more and more out of touch with the people of this district, and don’t just take my word for it: Recent polling shows that his approval rating here in CA-27 has plummeted by nearly 10%!

Garcia would rather cozy up to the far-right than do right by the people of the Antelope, San Fernando, and Santa Clarita Valleys. He co-sponsored a national abortion ban, voted to give himself a pay raise, engaged in shady stock trading, and that only scratches the surface.

The good news is that the momentum is on our side. This is one of the most competitive races in the country, and Garcia has never been more vulnerable – in 2020 he only won by 333 votes while President Biden won this district by a double digit margin.

The bad news is that Mike Garcia is on the attack. He’s blanketing the district with nasty false mail pieces against me in an effort to get more voters on his side. I’m not fazed, but we need to fight back before Election Day.
