Dear Fellow Conservative — on this day in 1836, Texas declared its sovereignty as an independent Republic — leaving behind a corrupt Mexican government.
Today, we face a new battle for independence — the battle to protect our freedoms, our borders, and our way of life from a relentless assault by radical progressive Democrats and Swamp Uniparty that prefer open borders and unlimited foreign aid over the security of our own nation.
Texas is rooted in individual liberty, the willingness to take risks, and achieve the American Dream. It's really the best of what America should be.
