I've been around politics for some time, and I’ve seen all stripes -- people seduced by the system and the fundraising; others who are able to stay true to why they decided to serve in the first place.

Public servants are their best when the people are front and center. That's why this campaign will always be about the real conversations I have with Californians about the issues we face.
