Team Herb here, did you catch the recent jab from the Virginia GOP? On February 15, 2024, they took a low blow at House Speaker Don Scott, who made history as Virginia's first Black speaker earlier this year. The Virginia GOP's official X account dug up Scott's past in federal prison for a drug conviction and questioned his stance on laws that could "cut breaks for drug dealers."

It's a real shame that the Republican Party would stoop so low to attack our very first African American Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates! And guess who stayed mum? Yep, you guessed it, Congressman Wittman. Just like he did after January 6.
