John,
Last year, a Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas ordered the FDA to reverse its approval of mifepristone, a safe and essential abortion medication. While the U.S. Supreme Court issued a stay that has preserved access to mifepristone until it reaches a formal decision, we’re now weeks away from oral arguments being presented.
The ultra-conservative court will begin hearing arguments on mifepristone's FDA status on March 26 — nearly two years after they issued their decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and destroyed the right to choose nationwide.
Make no mistake, John, this is exactly what Republicans were hoping would happen when they packed the Supreme Court with dangerous anti-choice justices. Despite overwhelming research affirming mifepristone's safety, millions of Americans' access to reproductive care now lies in the hands of an unelected court with no medical expertise.
We're running a nationwide poll to gauge what this community thinks about the Supreme Court and this landmark case — and we want to hear from you, John. Represent Pennsylvania by taking our short survey now >>
