On Monday, my office kicked off this year's first Mobile Office Hours! This program is designed to connect residents with the services my office provides in convenient locations all across our community. I am very grateful to the Norcross branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library for hosting Monday's office hours, and I look forward to seeing you at future Mobile Office Hours as we continue this program through the spring and into the summer.
This week, as Black History Month drew to a close, I was honored to visit the construction site of the Hooper-Renwick themed library, the first of its kind in the Southeast. Earlier in the month, I spoke about the Hooper-Renwick School and its legacy as Georgia's only Black public high school until the end of segregated education in America. I am so proud of Gwinnett County's efforts to preserve the history of this school and look forward to the completion of this library and museum later this year.
