Dear friends,
In just a few days, our movement has started hundreds of local viral kindness Facebook groups across the planet. They're helping protect the most vulnerable to maintain isolation by assisting them with essential needs, sharing wisdom and vital information, and identifying ways we can all help each other get through this.

Here are just some of the amazing things these groups are doing:
- In Valencia (Spain), a Viral Kindness group is already helping organise blood donation drives for those in need.
- A Brazilian local group is fact-checking information to debunk fake news and misinformation on the coronavirus.
- An Avaazer in Belgium has brought together over 200 people across the country, and they are posting inspirational content and videos on how to psychologically deal with the crisis.
And hundreds more groups are responding to requests from individuals for help, and connecting to share the best wisdom, humanity, and humour we have to offer each other to get through this and come out stronger. Join a group near you

This is the magic of our movement rising to this moment. We can rise to this virus with kindness and wisdom, slow it down, protect the vulnerable, and make our communities stronger in the process. Let's go for it! Join or start a group now.
With hope,
Ricken, Mike, Nax, Martyna, Raul, Inessa, Bert and the whole Avaaz team
