Next Thursday, President Biden will deliver his third State of the Union address to the American people, where he will celebrate the progress his administration has made since 2021.
But we know all too well that President Biden has not followed through on all of his promises to the young voters and activists who powered his 2020 victory.
65% of voters between the ages of 18 and 24 supported President Biden in the 2020 election – more than any other age group – and yet the issues that young leaders have demanded action on from the Biden Administration remain largely unaddressed.
From declaring a national climate emergency and taking more immediate steps to mitigating the climate crisis, to canceling student loan debt for all borrowers instead of a select few, our young people deserve more from the Democratic administration we elected four years ago.
