Dear A.,

As the battle with Hamas rages on, Israel continues to facilitate humanitarian aid into Gaza.

260 aid trucks were inspected and transferred yesterday, and today Israel coordinated a

fuel truck convoy to refuel the Shifa Hospital.

Outrageously, 300 trucks worth of aid remain undistributed on the Gaza side of the Kerem Shalom Crossing, with Israel questioning why the U.N. has failed to deliver the supplies to Palestinians in need.

Last night, the United States blocked an Algeria-led statement at the U.N. Security Council blaming Israel for the tragic and deadly incident yesterday as the humanitarian convoy traversed Gaza.

White House spokesperson John Kirby confirmed today that Israel is working with the United States to investigate the situation further. President Biden also announced that the U.S. will provide airdrops of humanitarian aid into Gaza, in coordination with Jordan.

Ofri Bibas: Why have the mothers and fathers of the world forgotten about the child hostages?

One-year-old baby Kfir Bibas has now spent over a third of his life as a hostage.

His four-year-old brother Ariel, mother Shiri, and father Yarden are all still in Hamas captivity.

This week, Yarden’s sister

published an

op-ed in CNN pleading with the world to keep the pressure on Hamas to release her family.

"Releasing the hostages should have been the cry heard around the world since October 7th. Instead, the cry heard around the world is for a ceasefire, as if the lives of the hostages are an afterthought."

This coming Monday will mark 150 days since the Bibas family and the 253 hostages were ripped from their homes and taken hostage by Hamas. 134 hostages remain in Gaza.

Iranian officer, Hezbollah members eliminated in Syria

A member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and two Hezbollah members were killed in an airstrike in Syria today, reportedly carried out by the IDF.

The IDF also

struck Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, killing members of the terror group.

Iran provides billions of dollars each year, along with weapons and training, to its terror proxies in Syria and Lebanon. These terror groups have launched more than 15,000 rockets at Israel since October 7, from Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

"We will rebuild. We will persevere."

In the face of unthinkable tragedy, Israelis are demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination. I encourage you to share the post below as we head into the weekend.
