As we wrap up another busy and productive week, I have some updates for you on how I am advocating for the Inland Empire in Congress. 

Defending Reproductive Freedom

Last week, the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that stored embryos are considered children, threatening the legal use of in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive a child.

We knew that MAGA extremists were not going to stop with overturning Roe v. Wade on their path to a nationwide abortion ban. This was another cruel attempt to deny women the freedom to decide if, when and how to become parents.

As a reflection of my support, I'm glad to share that I have received a 100 percent score on Reproductive Freedom For All's 2023 Congressional Scorecard! I am committed to continue defending reproductive rights for women in the Inland Empire and across the country. 

Protecting Our Environment

I'm also proud to share that I received a 100% score on the League of Conservation Voters' 2023 scorecard! 

Our future generations deserve to live in a world with reliable access to clean air and water. Investing in sustainability also means lower utility costs and more good-paying jobs. That's why I am committed to continue advocating for our environment as we combat climate change.
