John xxxxxx,

Our nation is facing a health and economic crisis unlike any we have faced in our history. We now have the fastest-growing rate of coronavirus cases in the world with New York City as the epicenter in our country's outbreak.

With a crisis as daunting as this, we needed to act boldly and swiftly to pass the largest relief package in history. Coming to an agreement was challenging, but House Democrats fought hard and successfully to transform Senate Republicans' trickle-down proposal into a relief plan that puts working families first.

Sign here if you agree we must stay focused on American families first, not slush funds for Trump and his business partners.

Here are some key victories from the House bill:

-- Direct financial aid to American families
-- Expanded unemployment benefits
-- Massive assistance to small businesses
-- A $100 billion Marshall Plan to support hospitals coping with COVID-19 cases
-- More federal support for states and schools
-- Strong worker protections and oversight on government loans

We want our communities and our economy back to full strength as soon as possible, and this relief package will help put us on that path. But, we are not through this crisis yet and more remains to be done in the coming weeks and months.

In the meantime, I'll continue working day and night to ensure New Yorkers have the resources they need to stay safe. I know these are difficult times, but we will get through them together.

Add your name so Senate Republicans will know to focus future efforts on protecting jobs, supporting our health care system, and putting the needs of working people and families first.

Thank you,

Hakeem
