We're celebrating International Women's Day by hosting one of our Global Partners, Hope for Kenya Slum Adolescent Initiative (HKSAI), next Wednesday, March 6th, at 2pm ET/11am PT.
HKSAI programs focus on advancing education and empowering vulnerable girls and women in Kenya's informal settlements. During the virtual presentation, HKSAI's Founder, Melvine Ouyo, will share insights into the education initiatives they provide for young mothers and adolescent girls in Kenya's slums.
Through our partnership with HKSAI, Population Connection is proud to support their Hope through Education Empowerment Program (HEEP), which focuses on enhancing enrollment, retention, and graduation rates in higher education for young women. We are honored to collaborate with them and support their important work.
