Laken Riley. It’s a name you’ve probably heard over the last few days, but sadly, not for the right reasons.
We should be celebrating her position on the dean’s list at Augusta University. We should be applauding her care and compassion for others, which was on display when she chose to pursue a degree in nursing. We should be talking about her role as a loving daughter and sister.
Instead, we’re talking about a life cut short because of a monster who should have never been in this country in the first place: an illegal alien who weaseled his way in from Venezuela back in 2022. Keep in mind, he went on to be arrested multiple times before this incident.
Why wasn’t he deported back then? If our leaders would simply follow the law, Laken Riley would be alive.
It feels like our whole country has been turned on its head. For heaven’s sake, we just let a bunch of illegal immigrants beat police officers in the street and get away with it, free as birds. What’s up is down, what’s right is wrong—and Democrats would sooner kick our kids out of school, endanger our lives, and give away taxpayer money than do the right thing.
How much more are we going to take, folks? We know the solution to the problem: close the dadgum border.
It’s really that simple, and if we don’t do something drastic soon, we’re in big trouble. More than seven million migrants have come in through that southern border under President Biden’s watch. To put it into perspective, that’s the population of 36 individual states.
It’s time we nip this in the bud and hold our leaders accountable for the blood that’s on their hands by allowing this chaos to continue. Impeaching Mayorkas was a good first step, but we still have a long way to go. Biden should cut the crud and take immediate action—which he has the power to do at any given moment.
We can’t afford to let America spiral further into disarray and disorder, especially as it becomes clearer that our safety is at stake.
