TPUSA CONTRIBUTOR AND PASTOR JOHN AMANCHUKWU TACKLES BLACK LIVES MATTER AT SCHOOL’S WEEK OF ACTION AT MESA PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Pastor and Turning Point USA Contributor John Amanchukwu visited Mesa Public Schools ([link removed] ) this week to address the district’s recent celebration of Black Lives Matter (BLM) at School’s Week of Action.

Amanchukwu accused Mesa Public Schools of using black students in the district as “puppets,” claiming they were GASLIGHTING students into thinking the district was “concerned about them.”

He also condemned the district’s use of a book—in an effort to be “inclusive” and “affirming”—that featured a black student on the cover who identified as transgender.

Black Lives Matter at School’s Week of Action ([link removed] ) highlighted this year’s theme, “Collective Value,” and proceeded to identify four specific demands the organization aims to impart on public schools:

- “End Zero Tolerance; Implement Restorative Justice”

- “Hire & Retain Black Teachers”

- “Mandate Black History & Ethnic Studies”

- [Students need] “Counselors Not Cops”

Black Lives Matter at School has also advocated for the curriculum to include “Palestinian existence, resistance, culture, global contributions, and the ongoing struggle to realize a free Palestine.” The group has further accused Israel of “settler colonialism, land dispossession, occupation, blockade, apartheid, and attempted genocide of millions of Palestinians.”

Woke school districts across the country celebrated BLM at School Week:

Berkeley Public Schools ([link removed] )

Educators at Berkeley Unified Public Schools were given lesson plans to assist them while they prepare and teach lessons and activities connected to BLM at School Week. Check out the white sheet full of recommendations and resources used to discuss “race relations” with young children.

Seattle Public Schools ([link removed] )

In observance of BLM at School’s Week of Action, students in an English class were given a worksheet titled “9 Characteristics of White Supremacy,” where they were instructed to match the terms to the definition or traits. Parents were reportedly outraged, with one father calling the assignment, “education malpractice.” Check out the worksheet for yourself!

Milwaukee Public Schools ([link removed] )

Milwaukee Public Schools participated in BLM at School's Week of Action, using this year's theme, “Collective Value”. In-school activities included indoctrination techniques like, "fostering a queer-affirming network," and "disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure."
