John,
The Child Tax Credit (CTC) helps families access the essentials. Like nutritious meals, critical learning opportunities and a safe place to call home.
It’s especially important in rural America, where Aracely is raising her four kids.
Their Southern California community is miles away from the closest grocery store – but distance is only half the battle. Aracely and her husband have struggled to find steady work, so they’re surviving on less and less income.
Millions of parents like them can’t afford to feed their families, John. A stronger CTC would help them get by – and Congress could vote on it soon. [[link removed]]
Passing this proposal is the right choice for our nation, no question. The last time lawmakers expanded the CTC, it cut child poverty in HALF!
If they improve it again, more than 1 in 5 kids in the U.S. will benefit. In rural neighborhoods like Aracely’s, a stronger CTC would reach even further – changing the lives of 1 in 4 children.
We have to speak up before Congress casts their vote. Will you send a message today, John? [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
