Dear John,
We are all experiencing the impacts of the Coronovirus in one way or another. Some may be working from home, while others have lost their jobs. Some are praying for the recovery of their loved one's diagnosed with COVID-19, while others are doing their best to stay out of the way.
Our federal government this week has shown their true colors again. Trump's administration only sees dollar signs in every action taken, and the Senate enables his dangerous and reckless behavior. The third stimulus bill that is intended to provide relief to American families barely scratches the surface of the growing challenges and its pitfalls will make our recovery as a nation even harder.
This crisis has shown us more than ever why we need a new type of leadership in the U.S. Senate. It is well past time to elect a true leader of the people: a woman who has always put people first and has continued to do so throughout this crisis by ensuring that resources are known and available to communities in need; by offering virtual spaces for community members to connect, ask questions and grieve together; by making sure that the information posted is accurate and up to date.
Lorena has continued to fight for the inclusion of our most vulnerable members of society in relief efforts. Lorena has continued to call attention to the shortfalls of our policies while also offering solutions.
We need Lorena in the U.S. Senate now more than ever!
