What are the requirements?
→ Reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Georgia (Savannah-Chatham County, Bibb County, Richmond County, or Dougherty County).
→ Student applicants: Must be 16 years old and a junior or sophomore (for the 2023–2024 school year).
→ Educator applicants: Must be a school teacher, administrator, advisor, counselor, tutor, or in-school program coordinator.
→ Commit to the 16-week program divided into two eight-week semesters (April–June and August–November) with five hours minimum each week, including team meetings on Tuesdays and some Thursdays (2).
→ Register at least 200 people in your school or community to vote in the calendar year.
→ Host a total of at least four voter registration events.
John, ambassadors will have the opportunity to drive the direction of the My School Votes program and contribute to our mission of closing the race and age gaps in voting. You will lead the charge in creating a culture of civic engagement in your school community and inspire fellow students and educators to join the movement — making a lasting impact on future generations.
