- UseTypeDescription
In previous versions of the surface water database, one field called ?ProGrant? was used for the amount of water a particular surface water permit was allowed to use. The field ?Units? specified whether the value in ?ProGrant? was either in cubic feet per second (CFS) or acre-feet (AF).
Since surface water permits could have grants in either one or both units it was decided to have separate fields for each of the different grants.
Instantaneous Grant ? Measured in CFS.
Count Instantaneous Grant ? Determines when the grant is counted in overall water use.
Volumetric Grant ? Measured in AF.
Count Volumetric Grant ? Determines when the grant is counted in overall water use.
Reservoir Capacity ? Amount in AF that a permitted reservoir can store.
