Have you ever wondered how one person can make a difference?
Hi John,
International Women’s Day is just one week away!
This year we’re expanding our #EverydayFeminism campaign. We’re determined to spread the word that no act of feminism is too insignificant to influence those around us.
From challenging harmful stereotypes to championing equitable leadership, it is everyday acts of feminism that move us closer towards equality.
We’d love for you to get involved by submitting your act of #EverydayFeminism. How do you practice feminism in your daily life?
“Every month, my daughter and I have a mummy-daughter day out where I spend time telling her stories of great women in our community, country, and the world.”
Namadi, Kenya
“I call out misogyny and gender stereotyping, however innocent it appears! Sometimes it’s hard to do and seems petty, but I believe it raises awareness of our unthinking, subconscious words and actions.”
Clare, UK
“My #EverydayFeminism act is talking to boys about the importance of including girls in decision making. Starting from the family level which goes out into the larger society.”
