** Present at TICTeC:
------------------------------------------------------------

** How are you using today's technologies for good?
------------------------------------------------------------

** A special call-out for speakers at our annual TICTeC conference.
------------------------------------------------------------

We want to hear from people and organisations who are using civic tech tools to make a difference, especially if they involve fighting climate change or encouraging your supporters to engage in democracy.

Join us in London on 12 and 13 June, to share your work with an international audience of activists, practitioners, researchers and funders.

We know that there are thousands of individuals and organisations out there, using our tools and others like them, to rally people to engage in democracy or to support climate action.

We've written about some of you: from the local campaigns to stop trees from being felled ([link removed]) , to the campaign for more sustainable school meals ([link removed]) (and many, many more ([link removed]) ), these are the stories that tell us why we make our civic tech tools.

And no-one knows better than you how they might be improved, or what new tech is needed to tackle the democratic or climate challenges of a fast-changing world.
That's why the TICTeC audience would love to hear your story.

The 7th Impacts of Civic Technology Conference (TICTeC) will take place in London and online on 12 and 13 June 2024.

The big question we want to ask at TICTeC 2024 is: What is needed to make civic tech on a global scale more successful and impactful, to tackle global problems around democracy and climate change?

But that breaks down into plenty of smaller topics and case studies: an on-the-ground practitioner telling us about how they are using civic tech to make a difference is just as valuable — perhaps more valuable! — than an unproven theory of change.

Read more about TICTeC 2024's themes and how you might contribute here ([link removed]) . The deadline to submit a proposal to present or host a workshop is 22 March 2024.
