I'm about to ask you for $5 shortly, but first, I wanted to explain the significance of today.

February is a short month, but that doesn't mean our goals have decreased – we are in the election year after all. But this Leap Year means we have 24 more hours to hit our critical goal this month.

24 hours might not seem like a lot, john, but for me, it means everything. My team is working around the clock, building up this campaign to withstand any and all attacks national Republicans are ready to hurl at us. 24 hours means one last email from me, asking you to support my team's hard work.

So before midnight, I need your support to not only help us hit our end-of-month fundraising goal but to show my staff that this grassroots team is with them all the way. Please, will you chip in $5 or whatever you can to help us close our budget gap, keep WA-08 blue, and take back the House majority once and for all?
