Hi Everyone!
Welcome to our fourteenth episode of Mark’s Park: Catch a Fire in the Park and celebrate the global sound and indelible impact of the incomparable Bob Marley.
Get ready to groove to the soulful rhythms of timeless classics with PFC’s very own Afro Fiesta and special guests Carlton “Santa” Davis—one of the most sought after drummers who toured and recorded with Bob Marley & The Wailers and is the current drummer for Ziggy Marley; Fully Fullwood—the originator and leader of “Soul Syndicate Band,” who is instrumental in shaping the sound of Jamaican music, and a member of Peter Tosh’s band “Word, Sound and Power;” and John McKnight—a multi-instrumentalist who has worked with artists such as Ben Harper and Boom Shaka.
Ignite your soul with this heartfelt tribute inspired by Marley’s iconic reggae tunes!
Mark’s Park is filmed in front of a live audience in PFC co-founder/producer Mark Johnson's backyard in Venice Beach, California. This series brings together the diverse group of people, who call Venice Beach home, in an effort to connect the world through music. A portion of the proceeds from Mark's Park will benefit the Playing For Change Foundation—an international nonprofit organization, operating 27 music programs in 19 countries, established to create positive change through music and arts education.
One Love,
Playing For Change
