As the coronavirus pandemic spreads around the world, our humanitarian response teams and community health workers are doing whatever it takes to support vulnerable children facing growing risks to their health, education and safety.

• In Kentucky, Save the Children staff are working with local school districts to provide lunches for more than 700 families since schools closed. In addition, they’ve worked together to provide educational resources, activity bags, craft kits, and safety and prevention information to children and families across the county.
• In China, as the crisis began we delivered 36,000 face masks and other medical supplies to help and protect health care workers in Wuhan, and we are working closely with our colleagues on the ground to provide additional support.
• In Bangladesh, our ground team is working around the clock to prepare healthcare facilities, increasing the isolation beds from five to 50. They're also training more health workers to protect the Rohingya refugee children, who are already at great risk of starvation and violence.
• Our health workers in North Darfur are sharing coronavirus prevention measures throughout communities using mobile loudspeakers and local radios as well as distributing informational pamphlets in local marketplaces.
