John, we’ve prioritized giving a real voice to constituents and ensuring that our movement reflects the will of Southwest Washingtonians. So, I wanted to reach out directly since Carolyn will be live on your computer screen in less than 24 hours. She’ll be joined by Tracie Barrows, Evergreen Public Schools school psychologist and a Vancouver Public Schools School Board member, and Kari Van Nostram, Vancouver Education Association President. We love reaching you in this new way, John. But in order to continue running the best operation possible -- one that reaches all corners of our district, that allows us to digitally talk to more constituents -- it’s critical that we reach our end-of-quarter fundraising goal. John, this won’t be possible without your help. If you are able to (and I really mean that), will you consider pitching in to help us meet our end-of-quarter fundraising goal?
Thank you for your continued support. We cannot wait to see you tomorrow. -- Abby Olmstead
--- Forwarded Message --- Mark your calendars, John: This Saturday at 1pm PT, we hope you’ll join us online for a Facebook Live Roundtable with Childhood Experts. This online roundtable is an opportunity to have your questions answered about being at home with your kids, and homeschooling from the safety of your own home. You can submit a question to Carolyn and the panel ahead of the event, or comment directly on the live stream on Saturday at 1pm PT to have your questions answered.
John, we created this event to come together as a community (from a safe distance!) and to help answer some of our friends’ and neighbors’ questions. The questions and comments that folks like you have been asking are markers of the depth and diversity of our strong movement for progress. And no matter where you are in Washington’s Third -- or elsewhere -- you can ask a question or just join for the event itself.
We can’t wait to come together in this new way, John. Talk soon! -- Everyone on Team Long |
