Kentucky trio completes Wyoming Cutt-Slam
Kentucky cutt-slam trio
Prior to 2023, Kentucky was one of two states without a resident who completed Wyoming?s Cutt-Slam. Thanks to a well-timed Wyoming Wildlife magazine article and a trio of motivated friends, Kentucky has made the list. Walter Montgomery, Steve Kuric and Michael Broome drove 4,022 miles round-trip to western Wyoming last summer to catch all 4 of Wyoming's native trout species. *According to Montgomery, ?It was an epic trip and absolutely wonderful.? Calling all artists ? both professionals and students! The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is accepting original artwork for the?*Collectible Conservation Stamp Art Contest. Watercraft transported across states must be inspected for AIS
Watercraft inspection for AIS
Spring and summer might feel far away for most of us, but boating season is right around the corner. Any watercraft transported into Wyoming must undergo a *mandatory inspection [ [link removed] ]* to look for aquatic invasive species. Inspections must be done by a certified AIS inspector prior to launching on any Wyoming waters.
