Today's the last day of Black History Month, a time not only to honor the remarkable achievements and contributions of Black Americans throughout our country’s history but also to ensure that we honor their legacy by continuing to advance justice and equality for all Americans.

John, I'm reaching out to you to make a meaningful impact by joining me and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries in our shared commitment to progress by splitting a contribution between our campaigns.

After the past two years of House Republicans leading with chaos and cruelty and using their majority to put politics over the people they are meant to serve, Hakeem and I are working together to win back control of the House. 

With Hakeem leading our caucus -- as the first Black member of Congress to lead either party -- we are building on our efforts to lower costs, create jobs, address gun violence, and expand access to affordable health care.

Together, we can give Black Americans and historically marginalized communities a voice at the decision-making table in Congress and advance our shared values, like combating voter suppression and closing racial disparities in wealth, health care, and education. 

We need to flip just four seats to win back the House, and John, I know we can do it. Please split a contribution between Hakeem’s campaign and mine before the end of the day.
