When we talk about “battery cages,” we’re not just talking about any cages. We’re talking about one of the cruelest things humans have ever done to animals. In battery cages, hens live their whole lives in a filthy space the size of a sheet of paper—surrounded by wire bars rubbing against their skin and mangling their feet. They don’t even have space to stretch out their wings.
Battery cages are disgraceful. And our plan is to eliminate them from the face of the planet.
