What’s more, **Nikki Haley has called for a return of $500 million in so-called*****“covid spending fraud”*** when referring to the money distributed to all counties across America to support covid recovery. Her numbers are vastly inflated, as much of the money she refers to as “unspent” is actually allocated and earmarked to be spent.

As a result, we have seen some post-covid recovery backsliding across the country, where local governments have let their citizens down.

 

The other thing Nikki Haley’s words reveal is **her desire to cut social welfare programs that are the crucial lifeblood of America.** As she gains traction in the polls, especially as a runner-up to Trump in New Hampshire, it's crucial to act now to prevent the resurgence of Bush-Cheney era politics.
