John,
I wanted to see if I could catch you before February closes. I know you’ve been absolutely pelted with emails from everyone and their cousin over the past few days, but I wouldn’t be reaching out if closing this month strong wasn’t so important.
We are in the closest race in Michigan, but our opponent has been raking in Trump dollars in exchange for keeping this seat. I know we’re not going to match that, but in a swing district like ours we have to keep pace. If you can, please chip in $5 to help us hit our February goal: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/dy-q1-2024?refcode=[email protected]
When I was younger, I didn’t plan on running for office — it wasn’t what I thought I’d be doing with my life. But growing up, my parents taught me to help people who needed it.
Today, I feel like I was put on this path for a reason.
I’m running because I’ve never been afraid to speak up, and because I was raised to work hard and take on the toughest challenges. Not just because they’re tough, but because they’re crucial.
We have a war being waged on our seniors, our veterans, our reproductive rights, you name it. But John James has not only stood by, but cheered on the worst of all of this.
We deserve leaders who won’t shrink from the big fights, and certainly won’t trade their ideals for fame, power, and money. And I know from the community support that continues to pour in that we can have one! But only if we keep hitting our goals.
I’d appreciate anything you can give to help us meet this goal before February comes to a close.

Thank you,
