I know I’ve told you all this before, but it’s important:
North Carolina will be among the most competitive swing states in November’s elections, at every level of the ballot. Democratic candidates are running in every single state Senate district in a bid to break the GOP’s supermajority, our gubernatorial race is the most competitive in the nation, and Republicans’ path to retaking the White House runs through our state.
For all these reasons and more, ensuring Democratic candidates can win across our state is critical.
But the GOP isn’t making it easy. They’ve used their supermajority to enact blatantly anti-democratic legislation designed to make it harder for some folks to cast a ballot. So we need to work harder.
We’ll make more phone calls. We’ll knock on more doors. We’ll spread more information about how to cast a ballot. We’ll beat the GOP supermajority at their own, rigged game.
We know what we have to do. But we can’t do it without YOUR grassroots support.
