Friend,
Yesterday, MAGA Republicans sank Senator Duckworth’s bill to protect IVF nationwide, and while we’re disappointed, we aren’t surprised. This move is part of a much larger pattern of anti-choice extremists putting politicians in between patients and their doctors.
And new headlines out of the states continue this terrifying trend:
today, the Missouri Attorney General announced that he is suing Planned Parenthood, calling it “the beginning of the end” for one of the largest reproductive healthcare providers in the state.
With their Care is Not Criminal campaign, Vote Pro-Choice is focusing on state courts and criminal legal positions: these elected officials have the power to criminalize reproductive healthcare patients and doctors, and we’re increasingly seeing them do just that.
In 2024, we can retain Democratic control of the Michigan Supreme Court, gain Democratic control of the Ohio Supreme Court, and win criminal legal positions across key states.
If you agree that patients don’t belong in jail and providers don’t belong in handcuffs, will you join the Care is not Criminal campaign with a gift of any amount?
Thanks for your support!

Friend,
Tomorrow, the Senate will vote on a critical bill to protect in-vitro fertilization and other fertility treatments nation-wide, introduced by Senator Tammy Duckworth, a stalwart champion for reproductive freedom.
Will you join us in telling the Senate: vote YES to protect IVF?
Senator Duckworth first introduced this bill in 2022, because she knew how important it was to proactively protect the fundamental rights that MAGA extremists seek to destroy.
After the Alabama Supreme Court decision declaring that embryos must be considered children, many doctors in the state have been forced to stop providing care to IVF patients, under the threat of criminalization.
What starts in one state never stays there, and we know that the Alabama ruling has national implications. This bill will override that decision and protect IVF nation-wide—but we need the ‘yes’ vote of every Senator.
IVF has helped countless people start or grow their families. Will you join us in telling the Senate to urgently protect this right?
Thanks for all you do!
