If the recent global outbreak of COVID-19 is teaching us
anything, it’s how truly connected we are to each other, how intertwined
our health and lives are. Today, as we face historic levels of
humanitarian need, we must dedicate more resources to helping families in
crisis.
Over 820 million people went hungry last year. Others are impacted daily
by extreme weather, droughts and instability caused by climate change. And
with COVID-19 taking root across the globe, untold numbers of refugees
face the reality that the camps where they’ve taken refuge aren’t safe. In
such close quarters, it’s nearly impossible to safely distance from
others, even people who are clearly sick.

As COVID-19 continues to spread around the world, it is the most
vulnerable communities, like this one in southern Idlib, Syria, that face
acute risk from this pandemic and other diseases.
[ [link removed] ]Please make your
gift of $10 or more to our COVID-19
Resilience Fund today to help us reach our $88,000 goal by March 31.
Together, we can make up to 5 times the impact and deliver food, water,
sanitation, hygiene supplies and critical aid to more families.

How does your gift have up to 5 times the impact? Since 2015, Mercy Corps
has been able to raise an average of $4 in government and foundation
grants compared to every $1 in individual gifts. Your gift today will be
combined with grants from other sources, enabling us to provide even more
lifesaving assistance to people in crisis around the world.
As a Mercy Corps supporter and a humanitarian, I know you understand that
global connection. I’ve been amazed by this community’s response to so
many urgent needs around the world.
Despite the challenges the world faces, we’re not giving up. At this
moment, we’re relying on you more than ever to help us protect the most
vulnerable. If you can, [ [link removed] ]please make a gift in this time of intense
global need.
