I am writing to you this morning to ask for a favor.

This past May, my colleagues and I in the House passed H.R. 9, the Climate Change Action Now Act. 

It’s currently August and the Senate has done nothing to move this legislation forward. Will you stand with me today and urge the Senate to pass H.R. 9?

From serving as the Chair of the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation and Forestry to installing solar panels on my own home, I believe in taking action to fight climate change.

John, Climate Change is a serious threat.

Don’t just take my word for it: numerous reports, including a January 2019 Department of Defense report, indicate how climate change impacts our ability to keep our country safe. It’s essential we take action NOW -- before it’s too late to act.
