The requirements for recyclability and accessibility change from state-to-state but one thing remains the same: an impatient mandate for their complete disuse before technology catches up with the requirement.

Medical debt isn't a crisis

Nearly one in 12 adults — 20.4 million people — had medical debt ([link removed]) in 2021, according to the brief. But a closer look at the numbers shows that these figures rely on some questionable assumptions.
The Peterson-KFF study counts any adult with “over $250 in unpaid medical bills as of December 2021” as having “medical debt.”

Maybe the impact of a $50 minimum wage – the lost jobs, higher prices, closed businesses – would shock them back to reality. Then again, the harm caused by progressive policies has gone largely unnoticed in California over the last couple of decades.
