"I'm Governor Gavin Newsom, and I'm asking for your support"

Across the country, extremist Republicans are systematically attacking the very foundations of our society.

They're silencing speech and making it harder to cast a ballot.
They’re signing dangerous abortion bans into law and are going after contraception next.
They’re rejecting federal money that would put food on the table of working families across the country.
And they’re lighting our freedoms on fire and making democracy a partisan issue.
The Republican party is hellbent on dividing us because it’s the only way they can win. They know their ideas are unpopular, their policies are out of touch, and their extreme message threatens our democracy. But I promise you, team, Democratic governors like me are fighting back – and will continue to fight every single day to protect our most fundamental rights.

Democratic governors like myself are delivering for everyday people, protecting and expanding voting rights, fighting to keep everyone’s kids safer from gun violence, investing in education, and so much more.

But there’s a tough fight ahead of Democrats this year – the White House, control of Congress, and 11 critical governors' races are all on the ballot. And Republicans are ALREADY spending millions of dollars to elect extremist candidates and destroy the progress we have achieved.
