Friend -- Our campaign has had to make a lot of changes these past few weeks. Our bus tour in eastern Iowa was canceled, all of our in-person events have been postponed indefinitely, and we've stopped sending volunteers canvassing. These are tough decisions for a campaign to make, but our top priority must remain the safety and health of our people and all of our communities. I'll tell you what, though, in the face of all this adversity, I'm proud of how quickly and thoroughly our team's been able to adapt. We've started doing virtual town halls and daily live streams with Eddie. We're reaching out to voters with phone calls and text messages instead of face-to-face at their doors. The truth is, while we may have to take a different road to get there, the fight to defeat Joni Ernst is as important as ever. We've got our first FEC deadline of the year coming up, and we're still $17,339 short of our goals. We know how much it means to pitch in anything right now, so to show our gratitude, Eddie will be calling donors who make a contribution to our goals to say thank you. When we started this campaign, we had a mission to rally around: Defeat Joni Ernst and deliver change for Americans who've been swept away by the failed status quo. The way we complete our mission may have altered, but we're as ready as ever to deliver on the change we need to see in the Senate. But if we want to continue striving towards progress, we need to keep hitting our fundraising goals and continue building a strong campaign. Chip in whatever you can before March is over and you may get a thank you call from Eddie, so stay near your phone if you can!
