Hey, can I be honest?

This work isn’t for the weak.

As Republicans continue to launch vicious attacks against our most basic freedoms and rights, we have to never lose hope and keep fighting.

As Donald Trump and his GOP allies blatantly undermine our democracy and threaten anyone who stands in their way, we have to push back against the conspiracies and hate.

And as poll workers face increasingly violent threats backed by Donald Trump’s big lie, reproductive health care clinics feel the brunt of the anti-abortion policies, and books containing Black and LGBTQ+ stories become the GOP’s next target, we have no other choice but to stick together and stand up for what we believe in.

I believe in the work we’re doing — because I know long-term change starts at the local level, and oftentimes begins in places historically overlooked.

That’s why Groundwork Project PAC invests in progressives working in states like Alabama, where the state Supreme Court put IVF at risk and coverage of the first-of-its-kind decision made national headlines, and Mississippi, where the Supreme Court Dobbs case that overturned Roe v. Wade originated from.

These are the places where your contribution can make the most impact because unlike the major campaigns and battleground states dominating news coverage right now, the activists fighting for our fundamental rights and freedoms in these states don’t have millions of dollars at their disposal.

So with that in mind, I hope I can count on your support before February is over. Each month, we set a fundraising goal to sustain and expand our work, and with your help, we’ll crush that goal and continue pushing for progress in states where it matters most.
