CFT President Jeff Freitas answers members’ questions on Facebook Live today at 3 pm

Please join CFT President Jeff Freitas today at 3:00 p.m. as he answers some of the most frequent and pressing questions from CFT members in a Facebook Live broadcast via the CFT Facebook page.

Last week over 12,000 CFT members took part in the largest ever CFT Tele-Townhall, with hundreds asking important questions about their jobs and the health and well-being of their families and their students. Jeff will answer some of the most common questions on Facebook Live today.

Resources for supporting students with disabilities

AFT has set up a great Sharemylesson resource page for supporting students with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The page includes apps for children with special needs, webinars for educators, families, caregivers and staff, and podcasts for special educators.

There is also an overview of the latest guidance by the US Department of Education on supporting students with IEPs.

CFT leaders at both the state and the local levels continue to push for more resources and guidance to support our special education programs. If you have specific concerns, please submit a comment at cft.org/ask.
