Patriot,

Here we are, once again. . .

Congress is set to pass yet another “continuing resolution” (CR) today to keep the government running, because they – after having taken another vacation – now have an “emergency” of a budget expiring tomorrow night.

So there will be NO reforms. NO fiscal responsibility. Just kicking the can down the road . . . yet again.

The silver lining on the storm cloud is the CR makes no mention of extending warrantless mass surveillance of law-abiding Americans, Section 702 of FISA, as the Deep State was hoping for.

But the threat is not over.

The agreed-to extension only pushes the next budget battle into March.

And the threat of Surveillance State reauthorization in the budget is still hanging over Congress.

Any member of Congress who isn’t screaming about reining in the Surveillance State at this point is complicit in this game.

That why you need to insist YOUR congressman, whether Democrat or Republican, demand an end to warrantless spying on Americans under Section 702 in a clean, stand-alone vote NOW.

This is a simple question of whether the federal government can flagrantly violate the Constitution and spy on Americans without a warrant.

No more excuses. No more delays. We demand a vote NOW!

By sending your representative an e-postcard, you can demand they deal with FISA now and reject any bill that strengthens FISA, doesn't have a warrant requirement, allows the government to buy your data from Big Tech, and doesn't have penalties for ignoring the law.

Even if you've contacted Congress on this before, this is a new postcard to make certain our representatives understand that we will not rest until the illegal spying program is ended.

Remember, the FBI abused the “Section 702 Database” under FISA to spy on Americans over THREE MILLION TIMES in just one year. They’ve concocted bogus investigations against politicians, against pro-life and anti-war activists, and even persecuted parents concerned about what’s going in our schools.

And as whistleblowers have testified, all of this came at the expense of investigating actual sex traffickers and terrorists.

When will it stop?

When we, the American people, compel our representatives in Congress to make it stop.

Patriot, there’s exactly one reason why Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is resisting having a vote on reining in FISA abuses: because he knows it would pass.

No more excuses. No more delays. DEMAND a vote to rein in FISA abuses NOW!

We are so close on this – it’s just a matter of getting a vote.

That’s why you and I have to keep up the pressure.

Thanks to your petitions, phone calls, and more, they’ve abandoned their plans of slipping an extension into today’s “must pass” spending bill.

So Patriot, after you demand your lawmakers rein in FISA abuses, can I count on you to make a contribution to help Campaign for Liberty contact up to 10 million Americans to help educate them and turn up the heat on Congress to STOP the Surveillance State?

For Liberty,

John McCardell
Executive Director
Campaign for Liberty

P.S. Section 702 of FISA – which allows the massive collection of innocent Americans’ emails, texts, phone calls, and online chats by the Spy State to continue – is on life support.

If you and I turn up enough heat on Congress to get a clean vote, I’m convinced we can bring the statists’ domestic spying programs to a crashing halt.

That’s why I’m counting on you to please send your STOP THE SURVEILLANCE STATE e-postcard and make a contribution of $10, $25, $50, $100, or more TODAY!
