Hey John,

I joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17, and after my first enlistment I came home to further my education.

But life has a way of shaping us, and the tragedy of 9/11 was one of those events that made a lifelong difference in mine.

On September 12, 2001, I raised my right hand and bought a ticket straight to the frontlines to fight for our country.

After nearly 18 years of service, I made the decision to return home to my family, but my fight for the future of America is ongoing.

An animated GIF from Ike’s new campaign video. Ike stands in front of a mirror, dawning a sharp black suit and blue shirt. We see him adjusting his tie, but his reflection in the mirror is him dressed in his Marines uniform. Click to be taken to video.

When I returned home, I found the democracy I fought so hard to defend was broken and Congress was awash in dysfunction.

I also saw politicians claiming to support our veterans but always coming up short when we needed them most.

The job of a congressman should be about work, not words. If our current lawmakers can’t get the job done for the American people, then a real American patriot will.

Their time is up, and that’s the message you’re sending to Lauren Boebert and every extremist in Congress when you donate to this campaign.
