Valentine's Day has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean I still can’t reflect on the people and the community that bring love into my life.

Throughout my time in Congress, I have been proud to fight on behalf of WA-08’s interests – from preserving our beautiful forests and waterways to funding critical infrastructure projects across the district, and so much more. And I couldn’t have done it without the love and support I have received from my family, friends, and community.

I could go on and on, but as a Washingtonian, I can say for certain that our state, its beauty, and its values will always hold a special place in my heart.

I’d love nothing more than to continue fighting on behalf of WA-08, but this is the reality: National Republicans are doing everything they can to ensure they flip this seat red. If they succeed, it would have devastating consequences for Washingtonians and Americans alike. The GOP anti-woman, climate change-denying, Social Security-slashing, book-banning agenda has no place in Congress, and we must do everything we can to stop it.

In just a few hours, we’ll face our critical end-of-month deadline, and my team tells me we’re still short of where we need to be.
