As we continue to count down the clock towards another potential government shutdown at the hands of Speaker Johnson, even Senate Republicans are questioning his leadership.
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell scolded his GOP House counterpart stating, “Shutting down the government is harmful to the country. And it never produces positive outcomes — on policy or politics.”
This is what happens when we lose control of the US House and why it’s beyond critical we take it back.
Right now I’m facing a much less serious deadline, but one that matters nonetheless - our end-of-February fundraising deadline is at midnight tonight. And we’re still behind our goal.
