CBS NEWS: “Democrats face steep odds in trying to hold a majority in November" Friend, In the latest analysis of the race for control of the U.S. Senate, CBS News says the “odds are stacked against Senate Democrats this fall.” The reason is simple math — our 51-50 majority is razor-thin. To keep the Senate blue, Democrats can’t afford to lose even a single seat. Look, we know Michigan will be close. It’s always close in presidential election years. The latest polls show that, too: So, we’ve got a lot of work to do between now and November 5th to do our part to keep the U.S. Senate blue — but here’s why I’m not worried: We’ve got you. From passing Obamacare to protecting our Great Lakes for future generations, we’ve accomplished so much together over the years. But here’s the thing: everything we've fought for together could be gone, just like that, if we don't work our hearts out between now and November to keep Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat blue. Thank you so much, Debbie ![]()
