JOHN, there’s nothing I hate more than asking for your hard-earned money, so I wanted to do something different today.

Now that we have that special request out of the way, I want to get personal for a moment.

You may not know this about me: I used to be a very bad stutterer. To this day, I still stutter. But after years in the courtroom, it’s something that’s gotten better with time.

It used to embarrass me, especially when I was a kid. It was hard enough to not feel understood, but what was even harder was dealing with the bullies in school.

Even at a young age, I wasn’t afraid to stand up to those bullies and call them out. Just like I have no problem calling out my MAGA opponent John James for voting to allow oil drilling in our Great Lakes, comparing abortion to genocide, and refusing to stand up to Donald Trump's radical agenda.

My stutter only helped me stand up to bullies like John James who think no one will point out his wrongs and lack of integrity. But I can't be the only one to stand up for what's right, and I will need your help to defeat him in November.
