It got far worse last summer when career politicians in both parties voted to suspend the debt ceiling for two years without any serious spending cuts.
The result? They racked up $1 trillion in debt in just three weeks on OUR credit card!
I saw that vote for what it was: another cowardly Washington failure. Another can kicked down the road.
