John, I want to talk to you about my friend Valerie Foushee, the Congresswoman for North Carolina’s 4th District.
Valerie was first elected to Congress in 2022, which means this year, she’s facing her first bid for re-election.
Valerie needs the help of dedicated Democratic supporters like you to get her first congressional re-election campaign off to a strong start. Will you split a contribution between her campaign and mine?

I recently joined Valerie on the campaign trail because I know she’s the right person for the job, and she’s an indispensable champion for our values in Congress.
Born and raised in Orange County, North Carolina, Valerie’s parents worked multiple jobs to make ends meet for their family of eight, and Valerie was in segregated schooling until sixth grade. Valerie takes the lessons and values she’s learned growing up – justice, equality, and opportunity for all – with her to work every day.
Valerie is a champion for fair wages, good-paying job opportunities, access to affordable health care, and women’s right to choose. I’ve worked with her directly to protect voting rights, end partisan gerrymandering, and advance new gun violence prevention measures.
While this is Valerie’s first time facing re-election to Congress; she’s won tough races before – including becoming the first Black woman elected to the Orange County Board of Commissioners and serving North Carolinians in the General Assembly – and I know she can do it again in 2024.
But she needs our help. Please split any amount you can between Valerie’s campaign and mine.
